Preparing a replay folder

Use the local Maplock importer to download and process a match, then export its validated artifacts. Select that exported folder here.

Analyze a map area

Select a rectangle to measure alive time inside it. Edges snap to map cells. The same area stays selected when you change windows or heatmap views.

Player	Time	Own share

Own share is the fraction of that player's mapped alive time spent here. A dash means no mapped alive time. Events are not filtered by this area.

Presence over time

Run analysis to show presence over time.

Average players mapped in each interval

Inspect interval

An average of 2 means two player-seconds mapped for each second. Deaths, gaps and missing samples add no presence. Coverage includes continuous alive or dead sample pairs, before area or height filtering.

How to read this analysis

Time mapped is alive time inside the map and selected height band, summed across players. One minute with six players can contribute six minutes.

Coverage counts continuous alive or dead sample pairs. Missing samples, life transitions, gaps and teleports are excluded. The first and last sample are never extended.

Motion is interpolated between reliable samples. Ground distance uses XY world units, not meters. Height filtering also applies to this distance.

Each cell is 1/48 of the map width. Color shows relative dwell within this window; opacity uses a square-root scale to keep shorter visits visible. This measures observed presence, not objective control.

Comparisons normalize each side by its total mapped alive time, then subtract cell shares in percentage points (pp). A longer window or larger team does not automatically appear hotter. Window A and B must use the same replay, players, height band and map settings.
